Foundry here we come

I will be heading to the Skurja art casting foundry tomorrow to pick up some bronze and to drop off some new wax.  We are continuing up to Sedona to the Wind Rush Gallery to drop off three sculptures.  This will be the first time in a long time that I will have sculptures in a gallery.

It is 109 degrees outside and I am still cutting stone.

New work

I have been working on new stones and wax. This one is about ready for the foundry.

Huntington Beach

We stopped in Huntington beach on the way back to Goodyear.  Weather was great, 70s and plenty on sunshine.  Got time to play in the waves and enjoy a good drink.

While in Tahoe

While we are in Tahoe we did some business.  We drove to Dayton NV. to look at some stone.  We came back to Tahoe with these stones.  Aragonite, a great looking white translucent stone.  I will start working on one of these for the Western Artist of America show I will be in in March of 2012.

Tahoe

We are headed back to Tahoe for a vacation and to see old friends.
